The Friends and the lovers is a pop-up book, visualized from a short story which I created. This pop-up book is centered a young, audience between the ages of 3+, inspired by the myths of the logins of the moon and the sun, who chase each other throughout eternity.

The Friends and The Lovers short story
In the morning the sun shines a fiery light that illuminates the world around us.
Within the wake of the day, the sun signals to the butterfly and elephant that morning has come, and with it the time to play. As everyday the two friends meet up and chase each other under the sis rays, through the grasslands.But soon, the suns shine, starts to wain signaling the end of the day.
For the sun however, It’s time to wain, signals the the start of a new day as its light moves towards the other side of the world. But within the few seconds oaths time, the moon starts to rise. And for a moment the two lovers get a chance to say their helloes and goodbyes.
